seat heater fault tracing 900 1992

Hello All:

The weather is getting colder and I have discovered that my driver's side seat heater is no longer working on my '92 945T. I haven't done an exhaustive examination yet, but here is what I have been able to gather so far:

1) The seat heater switch on the console lights up when switched on.

2) The relay under the seat makes an audible click when the switch on the console is operated.

3) Swapping the relay from the passenger seat doesn't fix the lack of heat.

If anyone can point me in the right direction for some fault tracing, I would appreciate it. I would like to do everything possible in terms of taking voltage measurements at the various connectors before opening up the seat covers, which aren't in the best of shape anymore.

This particular car has leather manually operated seats and the green relays, if that matters.

Thanks in advance!
