Voltage Regulator Removal 200 1992

Hi All,

Trying to get the voltage regulator off and having some trouble getting my hands down there and seeing what I'm doing. Was able to loosen one screw. The one closest to the oil filter is giving me troubles though.

Both appear to be phillips head. I can't seem to get a good grip with the screwdriver on that screw, as if it were stripped. I don't believe it's ever been replaced in the past though, since I have pretty good records from the previous owner.

Any words of advice? I'm trying to avoid making things worse. Thanks in advance,
