Voltage Regulator Removal 200 1992

Any words of advice? I'm trying to avoid making things worse.

Yes. Use your very best #2 Phillips and make sure you're straight on the screw head. Keep it forced toward the alternator while you try to quickly turn the head CCW. A worn tip will cam out of the head or chew it up, and then you'll have to take the alt out of the car and use a pair of vise grip pliers on what remains, as well as find a replacement screw. An impact driver would be right if it would practically fit in there.
