You need to check if your battery really is charged. My battery rests at 12.6 Volts as read with my panel mount Simpson Voltmeter on the dashboard. What is the voltage of your battery?

Check the voltage of the battery and post back. Also, very CAREFULLY clean the battery terminals making sure to avoid the pure lead dust.
