help with codes 2-3-1 and 1-1-3 please 200

You may have had a false alarm. The light being on is an emissions thing for the most part. If it stored the codes, it may be more involved or repetitive.

I have had it do that only once with out the codes though. I ended up just resetting it by unplugging the small red wire from the battery to the terminal on the fender for a moment.

We had a cold snap here and I think the 0-2 sensor just did not warm up fast enough or EGR valve was out of specification. It has never come back on. I do not use the full-blown and over priced heated sensor because I have mild weather most of the time.

If it does it again, I would look for an air leak from a cracked vacuum hose or a bellows hole.

With those lousy codes, you have no idea how long it was unhappy, let alone know where. It could have been only for a span of a few milliseconds.

Patience and timeouts, their reserved for the games, we make for ourselves.
Phil
