Just bought 80' 240 GL Wagon , where to start 200

Hi, new to the board. Just bought a wagon, decent shape for the year, paid $1500 has 152K miles, previous owner just did tuneup, new alternator, changed all fluids, front brake pads, new coil. Interior is in surprisingly great shape for the year. Will need new tires, going cheap for now, as I plan to replace suspension/wheels first before build out. With this model, what should I be on the lookout for?

First impressions:
1. Fuel gauge is sporatic, sensor?
2. Missing rear gate panel, where to find?
3. When starting in park, idles high, drops when in gear.
4. Little smell of exhaust, looks like back hatch seal is dry rotted?

Besides IPD, any other recommendations specific to this model?
