Shiftlock/startproblems when its really cold out. 200 1991

Looking at the pic from that angle, it looks as though part 52 is the piece to push to the left to override the switch and it attaches to part 10b. I just removed them and wedged a rigid piece of plastic down into that area running left to right where the switch resides. Once the pieces are removed, you can reach down and see and feel with your index finger where it goes. I sort of had to squirm the retaining "device" down into its new home with my finger and a pair of needle nose pliers until it was in place. I'll look at it it he brings the car back tonight and see if I can take a pic of it and post it here.
