Windshield interchange 200 1977

Hi Dave,

No personal experience here, just a reaction to my previous thought windshields had not changed size or shape since 140 series, excepting your recent post about the embedded antennas.

Looking at the green book, alongside a picture of a hand wielding a ballpein hammer at the base of the windshield setting, there's a note that says "Modification of windscreen/windshield frame from old type to new one (1975-1977)"

"Remove metal clips and scrape off sealant from the recesses. Tap down the recess flaps to obtain a straight and level surface"

Further along in the book, references are made to different part numbers for spacers and clips: i.e. 6mm spacers for tinted screen and 8mm for clear. Clip kits have differing p/n's.
