UPDATE: First Memory, Now BrickPix in The Cloud

All of the gallery/brickpix images have been mirrored to Amazon CloudFront. The upload has finished.

This should mean more bandwidth for the forum data to move faster. I want to move that to a hosted/cloud type of solution too but the image push was my first step.

My next step is to create the anonymous email feature as a service in Amazon's cloud. This will free me up to focus on core brickboard functionality.

The first step probably took a total of 8 hours of my time. The next will probably be similar but could be as much as 40 hours.

The only fear I have now is the expense. I can calculate that a bit and don't expect it to be too bad. We shall see.
