Is there still a "Volvos in the movies' list here? 120-130

...I saw "Swedish Automotive" last night and it features several Volvos (what do you expect with a title like that!), including predominantly a red 123GT which the main character restores to beautiful condition (the restoration took all of about 30 seconds in the movie, but the producers used the original authentic sounds of the vehicle, for which I give them extra credit)...

It's not an action packed George Lucas special, but a much slower interpersonal drama between characters which are all trying to deal with some heavy baggage...it was watchable and does feature some really nice footage of the car in its natural habitat...it was credited for 2006 and takes place (and was presumably filmed) in Virginia including the driving scenery, so the car is probably a stateside vehicle. I wont give anything away (there's not much to give away!)... I was also happy to see that the car was not harmed in the making of the movie!

Will the owner of the mechanical star of this movie please make themselves known so they can be recognized!

As movies go, I give it one thumb up...as Volvo containing movies go, I give it four thumbs up!
