Is it time to replace front strut coil spring 200

Thats pretty unusual (to put it mildly) in my experience with Volvo springs. I think the guys are right, it is something else. You can always substitute the r-sport springs out of a 79 242GT as I do (good luck finding them these days) for a stiffer spring and no height change, or possibly 240 diesel or 264 springs for more lift. For my 244 that carries a lot of tools and crap, I use 245 springs in the rear. My 245 has the Volvo overload springs so it all works out, moving all these springs around.
