fuel in motor oil: an update

Sooo...this morning I was able to drop off my car at the shop where the Volvo tech was going to take a look at it.

Fuel injectors were fine. No problems. No cause for the previous no-starts.

My car has made an ass out of me. It's healthy as a horse and runs like a top.
*sigh*

At any rate, thank you all for your input. The Volvo tech was happy that I had a sense of what was going on and was able to convey the needed information to him.
So Nigel is resting comfortably in the carport after a day of being prodded, driven, having his fuel injectors yanked and tested, new oil/filters, the works.
