Almonds and dog treats in air breather box 200 1991

Hi All,

So I went to change out my air filter and when I pulled it out I saw a big
pile of almonds and a few dog treats sitting on the bottom of the box.
Quite a few and I'm a bit baffled as to how they would get from the interior of the car into the air breather box. The only thing I can think of is rats perhaps but I'm still a bit baffled.

I wasn't even gonna search for a solution for this one, wouldn't know where to start.

thanks, Kirk S.
