Once more into the breach 700 1991

Sorry to drag up an old topic but reading a post of a UK Volvo site about injector cleaners http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=49683&highlight=injector+cleaning

started me thinking again. I have used the in the tank versions, BG44K was the most expensive and I made a pressurized cylinder to run the OTC inject-R-Kleen fluid PN 7000A directly into the fuel rail.

I never noticed any difference with any. I've had my cars 1991 740 & 940 turbo wagons for about ten years and they are well maintained, so it's not as if I'm cleaning up a neglected car.
What do people think and do people have any evidence to confirm opinions?

Cheers ian
