Suggestions for new 240 radio, moving to bottom position 200 1993

The original radio in my 1993 240 has problems, so am going to replace it with something better. This will be a good time to add some gauges to the top location currently held by the radio, and move the radio to the bottom location. None of the radios available from Crutchfield have the traditional twin shaft controls. As I prefer rotary controls for big paws, are there any good replacement radio/stereo units capable of powering 4 speakers I should be looking for to put in the bottom radio location? Without a specific model, I don't have much of a clue as to which radio, maybe one a few years old, that would work well for me. Any suggestions are appreciated. Daryl
