2 suggestions re: speedometer & winter start problems 700

Had a problem with the Speedometer not working properly during and after a rain. Found the ground wire from the alternator to the block was corroded. fixed that and problem went away. Don't know why there weren't other electrical problems?

Had a problem with cold winter starting. I used a hair dryer to heat up each of the block sensors located below the intake manifold on my 92-740, Finally found one that reacted to the heat and gave an instant start. Replaced that sensor. Car starts like new.
