6 vs 8 bolt cranks 120-130

Yes. No.
The 6 bolt engine has the flywheel mounted with 6 3/8"-24UNF bolts.
The 8 bolt engine has the flywheel mounted with 8 m10 bolts (don't remember what thread).
The crank, rods and pistons are different. The rest of the engine is pretty much
the same although the 8-bolt block I have has the maincaps bolted with M12-1.75 bolts
where the 6-bolt block has them bolted with ½"-13UNC bolts.
Also my 8-bolt block has the bellhousing mounted with M12-1.75 bolts I have heard that
some are mounted with 7/16"-14UNC bolts like the 6-bolt block.
You can use a 6-bolt crank (along with its rods and pistons) in an 8-bolt block.
You can't MIX 6 and 8-bolt rods or pistons. You have to use the corresponding parts
to the crank you use.
Far as I know the clutches and related parts are the same.
