Where's the other end of the D+ wire? 200 1992

It's on the big gray plug in the center of the firewall with four wires on it (well most of them have four wires). It's the red wire, but before you start running new wires check something.

When you turn the Key to Pos II do the warning lights all come on? If the answer is no, take a wire from the drivers side of the gray connector and touch the red wire to ground. DO NOT START the car, just turn the key to Pos II and see if the warning lights come on. If the answer is no, the problem is something as simple as a burned out bulb or a loose connection on the instrument panel. If the answer is yes, there is a problem with the wiring from the connector to the Alt and you are on the right track.

Thanks and Regards,

Paul
