A clue to my inop cruise. 700 1991

An update to my previous post inop cruise. Going through checking things I went to replace the back up lights that also didn't work. New bulbs didn't help. So went to check fuse #12 & it was good. Fuse 12 interestly also controls cruise, back up lights & OD. But strangely OD does work. And even stranger while I was checking fuses I had the shifter pulled back to 1st gear & forgot to put in back in park, well when I started the car it was still in 1st & it did start. And starts in all gears. Also the brake does not need the be depressed to pull out of park.

So I now get to pull the console & find out what someone has done to the wiring. I don't have a Green Manual & have no idea how to follow the cicuits other than looking for someone elses kludge fix. I don't know yet what I'm going to find once the console is pulled. If someone could tell me how the cruise & back up lights work together off of this fuse I'd appreciate it. Even better would someone lend me a Green manual & I promise to return it.

Will740 had a tip in the other post about checking the pump. It does pump hooking 12V to the center post & the lowwer post. Center to the upper post clickes a relay inside.

Thanks Dave
