'89 240 tail-light gremlins 200

Need help w/ tail-light gremlin on '89 240, problem is
1) all 4 lights do light up
2) bulb failure light on constantly
3) right tail/brake light always bright(er)
4) left inside tail-light always bright(er)
5) when apply brakes > right side always bright anyway, left side does NOT
get brighter
6) sometimes when brakes applies the right side tail light will not light
7) the window brake light is fine
8) i notice that some socket (bulb holder) have 3 metal clips and some have 2
metal clips??
9) i believe am using the correct 1156 and 1157 bulbs
