Assuming you have some sort of fitting on the manifold, hook the oil trap teardrop to that through a PCV valve (NAPA/Echlin 2-9280 is good). Then hook the oil filler cap to an air filter, or use a separate mini-filter on it.

I've had no problems running DCOEs without any additional support on any number of my own or customer cars, and that's with long, R-Sport type manifolds. Do use soft mounts between the carbs and manifold(s).
