On the other hand, assuming 240s are like 700s can have you chasing the red herring. A corollary to that is assuming a 91 240, like below, is the same as your 93 240. However, in this case, I think you're safe to assume.

Most common trouble with windows is oxidation of the switch contacts. If the fuses (note plural) are delivering the juice, the switches are the next place to look.
