Oil return line un-needed...Heresy?

Hi All
I posted this under "all" as it applies to all b230's. I was perusing Stealthfti's excellent site in prep for my upcoming HG job and found the smoking gun I was looking for in regards to the "oil return line" in the oil separator.
I have long suspected its irrelevance and it appears Stealthfti has come to the same conclusion, though he with much more definitive technical reasons than my hunch. Take a look at this, comments?

"Additional note: I do not install the oil return hose...the one that is held in place next to the oil pump. And which supposedly returns any oil precipitated out of the crankcase blowby in the separator box back down into the oil pan.

I do not use that hose for a very good reason: it causes problems.

On a motor with a lot of miles, or on a boosted motor, any excess blowby pressure can actually PUSH oil UP the hose, into the separator box, and on into the motor. I've seen it happen." Stealthfti
