Wahoo! Leaving the sandbox.

Steve, given time and a bit of freedom, I would shop DFW which is always a ripe market. That being said, I will be a bit more limitted on time so no long-distance car shopping trips are in the cards. In order to make the transition work, I literaly will have a weekend at home to decompress before starting the new job...but then I have every night at home to enjoy it.

Craigslist is not completely barren of possibilities but the majority of what is out there are turbo sedans...mostly 940's. Although I do love a turbo, my last brick was 1990 760 turbo wagon, they are slightly more maintenance and quite a bit more gas around town.

Amazingly, most of the Volvos are considerably more rust free than their Euro or Asian counterparts of the same vintage. Of course that is because the rust has long since claimed all those prime rusters from pre-87/88.
