Think he meant your mounts. There should be some engine movement as 240 mounts are somewhat soft. Look closely at the rubber when someone else revs the engine - be careful around moving parts! Look for excessive flex in the rubber.

With the engine off, look for cracks or tears in the rubber. Again with the engine off, here is an easy test of the passenger side mount. Try inserting your fingers below the oil filter and the control arm? below it. There should be enough room to slide at least one finger underneath the filter.
