Electric front, Armstrong rear windows 200 1988

This is more a curiosity than anything else, but was the US 240 wagon ever sold with the "unique" combination of electric front windows and manual rear windows? I saw this in a bevy of vehicles in Germany, including the Mercedes 190-series cabs, but the only car in the US I have ever seen with this combo was the Dodge Neon...until I stumble upon a 1988 240 wagon on ebay with this combo which they claim came that way from the factory.

I am thinking it might be grey market or a European delivery model.

All in all, not a bad way to go although I prefer to open one or both rears when a sunroof is open...at least since they eliminated the floor vents.
