R and R Radiator S90-V90 1998

Ordered a new Radiator after my Indie mechanic broke the upper rad fitting while replacing the alternator. It was just too cold and snowy to repair the alternator in my driveway at -24 so i sent it to my Indie guy. Now I have to replace my rad. Of course he did not break it. No wasn't me he said.

This I will be doing in my driveway in the snow and cold.

I have a brand new rad on its way. It was 13 years old so I don't feel all that bad about replacing it. I did a transmission flush a few months back so I know at least the upper trani line will co-operate. I had the A/C condenser replaced last summer as well.

It looks to be straight forward. Any tips? Any pitfalls i should be aware of?

Thanks
