Distributor Replacement Question. 700 1990

Thanks for response. I actually bought a new one of these from FCP Groton. With my teenage son driving the car I wanted some new components. Unfortunately still fighting the intermittent no start. The power stage/ignition amplifier was my first purchase after cap and rotor. Actually I had one on a working 240, the other Volvo that seemed to suggest this was not the problem. But I bought one anyway to be more confidant that my teenager wont be stuck. Thanks for sharing your experience. I am thinking about spraying WD40 inside my distributor cap and seeing if engine will start to prove my theory that I am getting oil from leaking distributor seal and that is my problem. I will just clean it with contact cleaner when I am done. And of course plan to fix seal for longterm fix if I can get tool described in the 700 FAQs.
