The only thing, I would want you to install it within a reasonable amount of time (like two weeks), and give me feedback on it.

Depending on your setup, it should be able to be installed in a few minutes, and the timing would have to be reset. As you can see in my picture, it's not permanently installed at the moment and power is taken from the #4 fuse (which is always live - I take the fuse out when the car isn't running).
