Noise in steering 700

I have a noise in the left front side of the car.
It is like a creaking sound.

It is not a belt slipping sound.

I thought it was the left shock absorber or a suspension bush or something. It sounds like that.

But I notice now that even with the car idling and stationary if I turn the steering wheel to the left I hear this creaking/squeaking sound.

Turn it back to the right now sound.

It has gotten slowling, evenly progressively worse with about 60 miles of driving.

The steering works. The only problem with my steering is with a very cold start, below freezing, the belt slips and the power steering is not very effective until it warms up and I am rolling a little. I don't thikn this is related. But it might be.

Any ideas?
