Does your 240.... 200 1986

Idle kinda rough?

I posted this on turbobricks and the consensus was 1. Yes. and 2. It's LH searching for the ideal fuel/air ratio, as it crosses up and down the idle hickups a little, depending on the condition of your motor mounts and stuff it may or may not be noticeable in the cabin.

So, yours? I've had several of these cars now, the B23's idle'd smooth as "normal", the B230's did not. Possibly of note was the B230's all had piston slap.

On two of these B230's almost everything that can wear and cause a rough idle has been replaced, but feel free to suggest. This has become my Volvo white-wail of sorts, this idle. My 83 B23 car with a bazillion miles on it idled perfectly, and everything on it fuel and ignition wise was old, it was a parts car. So I know it's possible.

Thoughts?
