264 TE restoration project 200 1979

A guy in Sweden is doing a great job of restoring a rare 264 TE (Top Executive). Anyone interested can follow the process in this thread on the Swedish 200 Club forum.

The car is claimed to be Erich Honeker's old limo. I wouldn't know if that is verified, but many (most?) TEs were exported to the DDR for government use as they wanted to avoid US or West German cars.
