Purchased new '89 245, '91 744, and '94 944T over the years. I finally sold the 944 in 2008 and bought a 535 BMW. I didn't want to defect but Volvo offered no RWD and I thought the BMW would would be a reasonable substitute. It's a nice car, but my wife and I both prefer our '92 245 for daily driving. We bought the '92 when our '89 was totaled with 375K miles.

It would be interesting to know how many have bought other brands due to the RWD Volvos being phased out of production. I want to keep a red block Volvo as long as I drive.
