Count me for one ...

Since RWD bricks are few and far between in my area, I am considering Ford Rangers, Mercedes 190's and...never thought I would say this...Buicks with the 3800. I will need a car within 4 days of getting home and the Buicks tend to well cared for, less rusty and have surprisingly efficient engines that are amost a bullet-proof as the red-block...almost. Just hate the idea of FWD but there are 20 worthy specimens for every RWD Volvo listed...of any condition.

I have worked on a lot of 3-series cars, few Saabs, lots of Japanese cars and trucks plus about any brand of motorcycle without a V-twin. Even had an old Aspen station wagon with a slant 6 given to me once...great motor surrounded by rotting shell and crappy-from-factor suspension.

My priorities changed a lot when I moved to the rust belt.

Mike
