brake indicator light remains "ON' 200 1987

I just replaced the vacuum hose of my 240 and everything went back to normal. there are no leaks whatsoever and brake pressure and pedal pressure are also ok.

My concern is the brake indicator light remains "ON" even when driving and when the hand brake is disengaged. What and where should I check?

Your invaluable inputs will be greatly appreciated.
