unable to start...again 200 1984

I will start by giving a bit of history. I never owned a Volvo until about 3 months ago. It's an 84 DL 242. I bought it not running thinking I could get it going with just a few inexpensive parts.the person before me replaced ignition coil, plugs cap, wires, also ECU looks to be new. Symptoms were hard start and when it did run it would stall when put in drive or reverse. I replaced AMM and the stalling stopped. I then replaced fuel pump and filter.car ran and drove good for about a week. I went on vacation to somewhere warm and when I returned outside temps were in the teens and twentys. The car still had the same gas as when I bought it so I don't know how old the gas was.I figured on a freeze up. Brought car to warm garage.it did start but not without a fight. It then stalled. Tried starting it again a week later it started by tapping on the system and/or the fuel pump relay. Got it home turned it off bought two relays put them in and it still won't start....again. any tricks tips ideas? Any help would be great.thanks.
