brake calier 120-130 1967

There sure seem to be a lot of messages about brakes lately, so ill join the trend.

Can anyone point me to where I can buy a caliper for my 1967 122S wagon (222S)?

I have searched the web, and perused previous messages. I may have missed something obvious, but don't think so.

My symptom is a failure to release on the front left brake. I pulled the pads last Sunday, and found the small pistons (outer) took a fair amount of effort to press in using a visegrip. I lubricated them with brake fluid and worked them in and out 6 times, then coated them with brake lube and worked them some more. Did I say the outer seals were split? Of course they are. That is the case for every car I have, and I have become accustomed to it.

The current condition is that they release after a minute or so, better, but it is time for fresh calipers. The old pistons have a 'bit" of discoloration/rust on their outer bearing surface, so I really need calipers "loaded" with the pistons and seals.

The normal sources I have found do not sell these.

Thanks in advance,

Larry - Pasadena
