Doing a proper Tranmission Flush 700 1992

I have the proper tubing to fit the return line from the radiator, and the 8 quarts of dinosaur blood Dextron for the flush. I also bought a pint of SeaFoam Tranny cleaner that is supposed to clean out the seals, bands, etc inside the tranny. It is added to the old fluid, allowed to circulate for 15 minutes, then the flush is done.
Am I endangering my AW tranny? Should I just skip the SeaFoam and just change the fluid by itself?
Any suggestions are welcome.
