I will do the shifting as you suggest. And overfilling is what happens to me frequently when I flush the 4 RWD Volvos I take care of for my family. I thought that reopening the flush line would be a better way to remove the little bit of overfill rather than the leaking pan method.
I'll let you know what happens as it will warm up to the 60's tomorrow. YEEHAAAW!
