intermittent spark caused by corroded contacts in IGNITION AMPLIFIER 200

I am just all excited now! Bought my son an '89 245 for $250; owner said it had run before the kids replaced the timing belt. They apparently did that right. It took us several months of researching and gettin' greasy, but now that baby runs like a dream, just because we cleaned the corrosion out of the ignition amplifier!!
