My lovely green beast has another problem... '83 manual trans. 240, has died a few times in the last month, couple times at stop signs, couple times on the highway (in one day). Started right back up at the stop sign, caught back up on the highway before it slowed down much.

Couple days ago, it died at a stop sign and wouldn't start back up for a half hour. Today, it went a couple miles, started a really loud whine, and died. The whine kept going as the car rolled. Started back up, couple more times with the whine and cutting out but didn't die. Didn't notice a whine the other times it died, but maybe the radio was loud.

Those two [new] relays under the glove box were just warm (one warmer than the other, and are they supposed to be warm?).

Sound like anything y'all have experienced?
