Was able to pick my head up from the machine shop during lunch today. Opted against having them put it all back together since it'll likely need a bit more tweaking before assembly. Plan to get it cut down for compression, but I need to do a whole slew of measuring first before I'll know how much. They already took a skim cut to clean up the surface, even though I asked them not to. Feels good to finally start getting parts back.
