Volvo Repair Shop in or around Northwest Oklahoma 200 1989

Hello Everyone,

I know this might be a tad too hopeful but I'll ask anyhow. I will be moving from Illinois to a little town called Alva in Northwest Oklahoma. I know about Swedish Imports in Edmond, but that will be about 3 hours from my town.

Do any Okies or other folks know of a good place to get my '89 245 taken care of for things beyond normal maintenance? I'm looking for a 1 to 1.5 hour drive distance from Alva- maybe something in Enid or even Wichita?

I don't want to give up this car. It's a good car and I've put a lot of repair work and new parts into it. That and I have a profound and perhaps unreasonable affection for it. If I can find someone to work on it I've no doubt it'll see 300,000 miles. The money saved on not having a car payment is worth the occasional large job.

I can do small jobs (I fixed my odometer, installed a tach, and enjoy soldering) and I read my manual and the brickboard. Larger, involved jobs and those involving hand and upper body strength are a bit much for me unfortunately.

Thanks for any and all suggestions.
Hope everyone is doing okay and enjoying the improved weather.
Best,
Spock
