Good God are they a pain in the ass. The emblems are made of soft aluminum and the retaining clips spring steel. Some times, you can unscrew them, use like a 3in1 oil on them, or blaster if they are rusted. When they were new and fresh, prying off could work, 45 years later, not so much. The fender emblems are pretty easy to glue back on, but the hood ones, not gonna happen so be careful there. I know easier said than done as there is no room at all.
