non working horn 92 240 wagon

hi sages- newbie question again. im working on my 8 job to do list to make this 240 perfect. your generous answers to my questions have been veryhelpful. wouldnt blame you for thinking im a huge pain in the keaster. here goes. the horn does not work. thinking this is a simple correction. 1st check fuse, 2d hot wire the horn after i find it in the engine compartment, 3d check/disassemble the horn switch in the steering wheel. my suspicion is that it is the switch button because if i press it a few times, the rear deck lid wiper goes on. also concerned about the airbag in the wheel being set off with my poking around. am i on the right track. appears the wheel and air bag have to come off to access the switch. any short cuts, warnings , techniques , etc. again thanks tons oldduke
