240 no start after clutch replacement 1983

I would check the timing with a light and check that the engine has compression on at least 2 cylinders.

There is no timing based on the flywheel with the 83 :) Did you remove the flywheel to have it resurfaced?

If it didn't start with starting fluid or even cough, I would suspect that the spark timing is either way off or there is a problem with valve timing.

What all did you move/remove to do the clutch job? Dropped the trans? Anything else?

To go over what you've checked, mind if I ask how you checked?
How do you know you're getting fuel to the rail, and how do you know the injectors are pulsing?

Good Luck As with all no-starts, Logic Prevails. Did you do any other work while you were doing the clutch replacement?
