pedal pads

hi tony h, art b and other sages- agree with you two on your responses to my question about finding a cassette radio for my 92 240 wagon. most old vehicles in junkyards have an aftermarket radio inthem m or the radio is gone. went to crutchfield. com and they have this radio by pioneer and a few others for the 92 240. luckily mine is installed at the top of the dash rather than the bottom. they have the two adapter harnesses you need and an installation kit for 129. two differences you must splice wires from their adapter plugs to the wires coming out of their radio and you bypass the amp and plug directly to the amps out plug to the speakers. seems the aftermarket pioneer radio has it own internal amp not a separate amp unit like with the oe radio. art- do have about 100 cassettes of themusic i like to listen to, but have not noticed the separation of the presses inside the cassette. have though broken a few tapes and had to repair them. by the way , need two new pedal pads for the clutch pedal and brake pedal. called volvo and they wanted $48. think thats way out of line. do you have any better source(perhaps some extras on your work bench or junk pile you want to sell?) thanks tons oldduke
