frontdrive & all wheel drive Volvos 1996

I have a V70T5 which is sort of the follow-on to the 850 turbo. I like it pretty well.
There are not as many repairs that you can do yourself - that is the main drawback.
Much of that also applies to the 940 as well.
They do seem to be pretty reliable but you HAVE to change the timing belt on schedule.
My daughter had an 850 sedan that had the timing belt changed but did not have the
water pump changed at the same time. The water pump seized, stripped the timing belt
and destroyed the engine.
Moral: replace not only the timing belt and tensioners but also the water pump.
