Replacing Ignition Switch Assembly 700

There's a '90 745 GLE for sale locally. Someone tried to steal it, so the ignition was busted open and driver's door lock damaged.

Haven't seen it--going by owner's description. Just wondering how easily that assembly can be replaced??

Also, is a '90 GLE likely to be a 16 valve? Owner doesn't appear to have much knowledge.
