M41 assy and parts 120-130

I'm rebuilding a M41 tranny with type J OD that was a mess and previously rebuilt by someone that that re-engineered it by leaving out some parts. On the lay shaft for this M41 the spindle and bore for the lay shaft are larger than the M40 (.716 vs .660 on the spindle). The previous builder left out one of the spacer rings that go on either side of the needle bearings in the lay shaft. These on the M41 are larger than the spares I have for a M40. The M41 are .725 ID and .901" OD vs the M40 at .826 OD and .660 ID. The only parts reference I can find is for 87176-4 and it doesn't specify size. Why is this layshaft different in size? Where can I source the proper spacer? I only need one if someone has one leftover they would part with.
